Praxa Appointed Microsoft World-wide Solution Provider Partner of the Year

At Microsoft's 1996 Solution Provider Partner Strategy Briefing in Seattle, Praxa was awarded the title of Microsoft World-wide Solution Provider Partner of the Year. Competing against 12,500 Solution Providers from over 49 countries, Praxa won the award based on its credibility, professionalism and high levels of technical expertise in Microsoft products.

Three finalists for the award were chosen by Microsoft and VAR Magazine from 30 nominations made by Microsoft staff from around the world. The winner was then selected by a vote from more than 1,000 Solution Provider Partners who were in attendance at the conference.

As Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates said in a congratulatory letter to Praxa, "This honor is reserved for the Microsoft Solution Provider Partner organization that truly exemplifies the attributes we look for in our Partners - business and technology vision, revenue generation, professionalism, loyalty, commitment, and focus on staff training and certification.

"It's a tribute to you that not only did Microsoft select Praxa as one of three Partner of the Year finalists, but also that it was your peers - fellow Microsoft Solution Provider Partners - that ultimately selected your organization as the best of the best."

Praxa was one of the first organisations to participate in Microsoft's Solution Provider Program in 1993, is the only Australian company to reach Partner level in the Solution Provider Program, and has become Microsoft Australia's strongest and most committed business partner.

Microsoft, in its Solution Provider Partner Awards advertising in USA Today, commented About Praxa, "Praxa embodies all the qualities that define a world-class Microsoft Solution Provider Partner. They've consistently demonstrated their ability to provide their clients with custom solutions that are cost-effective, quick-to-market, and entail low migration risk".

Microsoft Solution Provider Partners offer a host of value-added services, such as integration, consulting, software customisation, developing turn-key applications, and technical training and support. They play an important role within the business community, supplying it with objective advice, technical skills, and quality service. In turn, Microsoft equips Solution Providers with services and tools that help create additional value to Microsoft-based software technology.

Demonstrating its strong commitment to Microsoft, Praxa has held in excess of 300 one-on-one customer briefings in Australia over the last two years, featuring the complete range of Microsoft products. Praxa is committed to developing its staff to ensure they are a team of Microsoft trained professionals.

In Australia Microsoft regards Praxa as a 'model' Solution Provider, possessing all the attributes Microsoft looks for in their business partners.
